  1. Chalcopyrite is copper iron sulphide, CuFeS2, 
  2. the most common ore of copper. It is brassy 
  3. yellow in colour and may have an iridescent 
  4. surface tarnish. It occurs in many different 
  5. types of mineral vein, in rocks ranging from 
  6. basalt to limestone.
